Dr. Josée Boyer, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She is a graduate of the accredited Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, having completed the four-year intensive Diploma of Naturopathic Medicine program. Originally from Sudbury ON, she previously completed a four-year Biomedical Science degree with honors from Laurentian University. She is currently registered with The Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy (BDDT-N). Dr. Boyer’s passion for the workings of the human body and caring for its health drove her to naturopathic medicine. During her Naturopathic studies she was actively involved in the Naturopathic Students’ Association and held executive positions including Student Union President. She interned at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic as well as the Anishnawbe Health Clinic where she provided health care to the Aboriginal population of downtown Toronto. Providing high quality comprehensive care is her guiding philosophy when treating every patient. Dr. Boyer believes in individualized health care that focuses on gentle effective therapies to eliminate symptoms and treat the root cause of disease. Furthermore, the journey towards health is collaborative, and Dr. Boyer encourages patients to be curious and informed about their health and the naturopathic healing process. She educates her patients in order to encourage a pro-active journey towards health.
Dr. Boyer has a general family practice and enjoys using all modalities of naturopathic medicine to help her patients reach their optimal health goals. Her areas of interest include mental health and stress management. She is fluent in English and in French. Dr. Boyer offers free 15-minute consultations to those who would like more information concerning the role of naturopathic medicine in treating their health concerns.
